IN THEATRES: MARCH 4, 2005 (NY) Argentinian director Carlos Sorin offers a humble yet richly touching film with INTIMATE STORIES, which weaves together the stories of three travelers, each of whom is on a quest to gain something potentially life-changing. This gentle portrait unfolds as three ordinary yet compelling individuals leave from the small village of Fitz Roy in Argentina's Southern Patagonia to travel a day's distance to achieve their dreams. There is Don Justo (Antonio Benedictis), the grocery store owner whose journey will reunite him with his long-lost dog; Roberto (Javier Lombardo), who is traveling to woo a recent widow; travel argentina and Maria (Javiera Bravo), who has the opportunity to win much-needed prizes on a game show.
